2001 MANIACS sequel sets FrightFest premiere; new exclusive pic

2001 MANIACS: FIELD OF SCREAMS director Tim Sullivan sent over an exclusive new photo (see it after the jump) with the news that his sequel will have its world premiere at Film4 FrightFest’s 2010 Glasgow edition, part of the Glasgow Film Festival. The event takes place in the Scottish city Friday-Saturday, February 26-27.

Sullivan’s follow-up to 2001 MANIACS, in which the Pleasant Valley gang (led by Bill Moseley, center of photo with sword, as Sheriff Buckman, with Lin Shaye, Christa Campbell and Kevin “Ogre” Ogilvie co-starring) hit the road and terrorize a reality-show crew, will screen on the 26th at 9:30 p.m. Other features being showcased include Vincenzo Natali’s SPLICE, Adam Green’s FROZEN and Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza’s [REC] 2.
