Fango got ahold of a couple of exclusive pics (seen after
the jump) from ZOMBIE WOMEN OF SATAN, an over-the-top new horror/comedy
recently acquired by British sales company Left Films (which is also handling
Marc Price’s celebrated microbudget zombie movie COLIN). The film, which
premiered last August at London’s Film4 Frightfest, was produced and directed
by Warren Speed (who also scripted) and Steve O’Brien (who additionally served
as cinematographer).
Speed, one of Britain’s busiest burlesque/comedy performers,
stars as Pervo the Clown, part of a troupe of off-the-wall cabaret performers
called Flesharama who travel to a remote farm for an on-line TV interview. One
of the group, rocker chick Skye Brannigan (Victoria Hopkins), is also there in
search of her missing sister. It turns out that her suspicions are currect: The
place is owned by an evil cult who kidnap girls and perform torturous
experiments on them—turning the young women into the scantily clad living dead.
A battle for survival ensues, along with lots of explosed flesh and spilled
guts. Christian Steel, Seymour Mace, Kate Soulsby, Pete Bonner, Joe Nicholson
and COLOUR FROM THE DARK’s Marysia Kay also star; Mark Danbury and Jez Hunt of
Gore-O-Matic FX handled the special makeup.

“ZOMBIE
WOMEN OF SATAN is going to make 2010 a fun year for us,” says Left Films’ Helen
Grace. “Love it or hate it, it’s going to be hard to ignore.” She also reveals
that Speed and co. are already prepping ZOMBIE WOMEN OF SATAN 2. Check out
ZOMBIE WOMEN’s official website here.
I have to say it. British have something with zombies. They have a lot of plays about it and even movies that are about zombies in main plot. Also I know that they are well known because of some comedies with Generic Viagra.
